Apply for this position and join us in building Europe’s next generation infrastructure.
Our values are rooted in responsibility, readiness, and long term thinking. We believe sovereignty must be designed into systems from the start. Readiness is achieved through capability, not procurement. Autonomy is infrastructure, not a feature. We build with the understanding that modern systems carry long term consequences. That is why we prioritise reliability over novelty, integration over isolation, and sustained capability over short term advantage.
Role Overview
Reports to: Chief Technology Officer
This engineering position focuses on the design of digital (MCU, CPU, FPGA, GPU), mixed-signal and power-tree electronics. The role includes schematic capture, high-speed PCB layout, design verification, prototyping, and preparation of documentation for manufacturing. The successful candidate will translate system-level requirements into PCB-level designs while ensuring performance, manufacturability, and compliance with EMC/EMI and signal-integrity best practices. The role also involves collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver complete electronic products.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate system-level requirements into PCB design-level requirements.
- Design and develop schematic captures and PCB layouts for digital, mixed-signal, and power circuits.
- Apply and mitigate EMC/EMI issues during the design phase.
- Create, assemble, and validate PCB prototypes.
- Optimize electronic designs considering technological capabilities, cost, and performance.
- Perform design for manufacturability (DFM) analysis on PCB designs.
- Prepare fabrication documentation and verify manufacturing files against supplier capabilities.
- Apply high-speed design principles including transmission lines, impedance control, and termination strategies.
- Collaborate with engineers from related disciplines (mechanical, optical, and software) to ensure system integration.
- Use ECAD tools for PCB development and perform signal-integrity analysis when required.
- Support testing, debugging, and validation using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers.
- Maintain project documentation and manage design data within version control systems.
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field, with coursework in electromagnetics, digital electronics, mixed-signal circuits, and power electronics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in schematic capture and PCB layout design in instrumentation or high-speed electronic systems.
- Strong knowledge of digital, mixed-signal, and power circuit design.
- Strong understanding of EMC/EMI control principles at both layout and system levels.
- Strong knowledge of high-speed PCB layout techniques including transmission lines and termination.
- Knowledge of IPC standards related to PCB design (IPC-222X, IPC-7351, IPC-7352) and understanding of IPC classes.
- Advanced proficiency with Altium Designer and familiarity with HyperLynx or similar analysis tools.
- Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing project data.
- Practical experience building prototypes and debugging electronic systems using laboratory instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and VNAs.
- Ability to lead technical tasks and coordinate engineering activities.
- Free criminal record no. 3.
- Basic knowledge of RF engineering principles.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments involving mechanical, optical, and software teams.
- Experience in high-speed digital systems involving MCUs, CPUs, FPGAs, or GPUs.
- National from a NATO member country or one of the following NATO Indo-Pacific partners: Australia, Japan, holding a NATO Clearance or able to get one.

[01]
Design with scale in mind.
We develop systems as part of an ecosystem that is intended to grow.
Scale is not an afterthought, but a design principle that shapes architecture, integration, and evolution.
[02]
Build a solid foundation.
We prioritise core architecture, interoperability, and long term resilience.
A strong foundation enables systems to adapt without fragmentation.
[03]
Practice over theory.
We value learning through application.
Systems are shaped by real use and continuous refinement, not by abstract assumptions.
[04]
Commitment beyond delivery.
We take responsibility for what we build over time.
Commitment means supporting systems throughout their lifecycle and ensuring they remain relevant, secure, and under control.
We are hiring talent across multiple roles, contributing to Europe’s readiness and long term capability.
We are building a multidisciplinary team across engineering, systems architecture, operations, and supporting functions. Open roles reflect the needs of a growing secure and autonomous infrastructure company, where integration, reliability, and long term thinking matter. If you do not see a position that matches your profile, we still encourage proactive applications from people aligned with our mission and values.
